The Gombe State Police Command introduced newly promoted Commissioner of Police Hayatu Usman on Monday, following the retirement of CP Oqua Etim.

Olukayode Egbetokun, the Inspector General of Police, recently honored 26 Commissioners of Police in Abuja, including Usman.

According to our correspondent, Usman was the command’s Deputy Commissioner overseeing operations before being promoted.

More information would be provided shortly, according to a statement acquired by our correspondent from ASP Mahid Abubakar, Usman’s public relations officer, which disclosed his assumption of office.

“We will soon reveal the 22nd Commissioner of Police for Gombe State Command, CP Hayatu Usman, Psc.” he declared.
