Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Nigeria Police’s Pro, has claimed that any police officers who use a pistol to extort Nigerians are  thieves.

His remark was in reaction to a cryptocurrency dealer who had allegedly had his home broken into and been unlawfully detained when he had called the police.

The individual claimed that he and other locals were held at a station and that they only let him to leave after demanding a large sum of money from him.
