Ali Ndume, a senator from Borno South, has criticized Senate President Godswill Akpabio for authorizing the approval of some executive measures without consulting other senators.
Ndume criticized the Senate President for adopting several legislation without a formal reading or input from members in a video from Thursday’s session.
Ogoshi Onawo, a senator from Nasarawa State and a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, also denounces Akpabio’s attempt to rush through several laws.
Very important measures have been introduced, and it is anticipated that they will be enacted quickly, which is bad for the nation.
” Senator in this chamber is expected to be well-informed, to conduct thorough research, and to offer valuable input, it wouldn’t be better for the nation if even money legislation were presented and expected to be enacted in less than two hours.
